Desde hace varios a\u00f1os, el uso de arquitecturas de computaci\u00f3n paralelas ha sido un aspecto fundamental que ha permitido el desarrollo de importantes \u00e1reas en m\u00faltiples campos de la ciencia b\u00e1sica y aplicada. Sin embargo, el elevado coste de los sistemas paralelos tradicionales ha limitado su uso pr\u00e1cticamente a grandes industrias y centros de investigaci\u00f3n. Hace tiempo que el uso de redes de computadores de bajo coste, as\u00ed como la computaci\u00f3n usando infraestructuras conectadas<\/strong> a trav\u00e9s de Internet, representa una alternativa pr\u00e1ctica<\/strong> y barata a los grandes sistemas. As\u00ed, la computaci\u00f3n en la Nube (Cloud Computing) ha surgido como un paradigma de computaci\u00f3n distribuida<\/strong> que cambia el modo en el que usamos los computadores, permitiendo el acceso transparente, seguro y barato a enormes recursos computacionales desde cualquier lugar del mundo.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

El objetivo principal de esta materia es dar a conocer el modelo de Cloud Computing, y c\u00f3mo el mundo de la Computaci\u00f3n de Altas Prestaciones puede utilizar el cloud para afrontar problemas que, hasta el momento, estaban restringidos a su resoluci\u00f3n en grandes supercomputadores. Se ver\u00e1n diferentes ejemplos de c\u00f3mo es posible resolver problemas del \u00e1mbito de la computaci\u00f3n de altas prestaciones utilizando servicios y recursos distribuidos accesibles en la nube.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
